Chevrolet camaro black panther. On April 7 1967 Bobby Simonen walked into Gorries Chevrolet in Toronto and bought a Black Panther Camaro. First was the now iconic 350 cubic-inch V8 that was at the time designed solely for the new Panther. Initially it was to be the biggest V8 available from Chevrolet until the car was ultimately approved to receive the 396 cubic-inch big-block.
Interiors were typically gold as well. SLP claims the Panther. When it comes to classic cars one of the things that makes them even cooler is when they feature a limited edition dealers package.
In 1967 Toronto-based Gorries Chevrolet created a run of special custom-crafted Camaros called Black Panther Camaros. SOLD Jan 10 2020. Already known in racing and rally circles with their work on the Corvette Gorriess geared up to modify a limited number of camaro s into Black Panthers giving the camaro some real street muscle. This car was test-driven on April 7th 1971 from but never purchased. This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Black Panther was last sold on Jan 10 2020.
Roughly 30 cars were ordered by Gorries as part of its Black Panther. The cool coupe was part of the dealers special program to meet the exploding demand for performance variants. Jay says that reception of the car has been amazing.
Legend has it that only 50 were made painted gloss black with gold trim and a gold interior. One thing is for certain though the Black Panther theme will live on. He says that the car will continue to change and evolve as he looks to add different services to his business.
